The longest covered bridge in Ohio at 228 feet is the focal point of this park. A Howe Truss Bridge, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Several canoe liveries provide portage from this area, fishing for bass, steelhead and other species from the dam and surrounding area is a favorite past time for locals. Walking trails along the State Designated Scenic Grand River provide hours of wildlife watching - Great Blue and Green Heron, species of ducks and other birds have been seen. Several pavilions, playgrounds a fishing concessions, baseball field, and rustic restrooms are available. Motorcoaches are not recommended to pass through bridge.

Western Reserve Greenway Trail is now 20 miles of paved trail offering hiking, biking (Bicycling), rollerblading, and other non-motorized activities. Wintertime activities include cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Opened in 2002, it is the first phase of a potential 27-mile long trail that will connect up with Trumbull, Mahoning County trails and eventually extend to the Ohio River. Trailheads are available at the Post office in Austinburg on SR 307, Old Austinburg Road, about 2 miles east of SR 45 off Austinburg Road, Woodman Avenue in Ashtabula, and Lampson Road.

The Ashtabula Harbor's lighthouse was established in 1836, and rebuilt again in 1905 and 1916. The light has been automated since 1973 and is still active. The original Fourth Order Fresnel lens was replaced in 1995 and the old unit is currently on display at the Great Lakes Marine and US Coast Guard Museum in Ashtabula. This museum was the original Keeper�s house for the light and offers spectacular views of the harbor, coal dock and lighthouse. The light is located on a long breakwall that could be very treacherous to walk to the light, so the best way to see it closely is by boat. The light does not offer tours, however there are hopes of renovation work to be completed at an undetermined date.

Located on one acre of land overlooking Lake Erie. The winter months have been spent giving the cottages a brand new look. They have been newly painted, inside and out, recarpted, re-decorated, and decks have been added.

We have three cottages, on the lake, with a private drive and private beach. Each cottage has two bedrooms and is completely furnished, including cooking utensils. Weekley rental includes up to four people per cottage, but one or two extras can be accommodated at $25 per person per week. You will need to bring your own bedding (two singles and one double), along with towels, blankets and extra pillows, as four pillows will be provided in each cottage.

Pets are prohibited because of shared activity areas. Cottages should be left clean and neat condition.
Biscotti's Cottages are within one mile of a public boat launch, Township Park, grocery store, serveral restaurants, and of course within walking distance of our own little winery. There are also three other wineries and plenty of covered bridges to see in Conneaut.

Cottages are only rent by week during the months of June, July, and August.

A 50% deposit is required in advance to secure your reservation and the balance is due upon arrival. Deposit is refundable if reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to check in. Check in time for all cottages is 4:00pm on Sunday, and check out time is the following Sunday at 11:00.
We will accept cash, check, or credit card. A major credit card must be file if paid by check or cash.

The former New York Central train depot, built in 1900, is the home of the Conneaut Railroad Museum. Besides rare items, such as an 1866 Stock Certificate of the Red River Line (NYC) and relics from the Ashtabula Bridge Disaster of 1876 are large displays of lanterns, timetables, passes and old photos. Climb aboard the steam engine and caboose on exhibit. There are many other items that were used during the steam era which played a vital role in the building of our country.
