The fishing opportunities in Lake Erie are one of the best things about Ohio. Let "Lost Tackle Charters" Captain Alan Ammon and Captain Frank Weimer show you just how good it can get! Freshwater fishing enthusiasts of all skill levels are invited onboard for a chance to catch some legendary fish. -Your vessel for the day will be one of two 28’ Cherokee boats. One was freshly restored in 2021 and decked out with the latest in safety gear, as well as navigational electronics, while the other was fully restored in 2023 with the same great gear. Each are perfect for a group's of up to 6 anglers, who all want to be able to fish at the same time. Comfort is no problem thanks to ample seating and a private toilet. -Capt. Alan or Frank will make sure you have a great day on the water and put plenty of fish on the boat. Trolling is Capt. Alan and Franks's favorite way to get big fish on the boat, but you can cast and jig too during the spring. -All of your gear is waiting on board when you arrive at the dock. What you will want to bring are drinks and snacks to enjoy throughout the trip! -Let your Captain know in advance if there are any children in your party so he can provide life jackets. Fish cleaning is available at either dock, by the captain or the many cleaners at the dock. Lastly, don’t forget to pick up an Ohio fishing license online or from a registered vendor.
